So we are getting ready to travel again. We bought a new tail bag for the Kawasaki and I went I have decided to go back to stock mufflers on the Harley. I changed the exhaust pipes years ago. However, I have found for me, the pipes are just too loud on long trips. Plus when I want to boondock camp, I need the motorcycle to be a little more quiet.
The motorhome is still being used as a home base. We have it parked in a secure place here in Florida and it’s nice to know there is little chance it will be broken into here. Not saying it won’t happen but Florida is not a state you want to be trespassing or breaking into homes. Just a little friendly advice.
As I have been servicing both motorcycles, I luckily found my voltage regulator on the Harley is overcharging at about 14.7 Volts at idle and it climbs as I accelerate the throttle. I say lucky because it’s happening here at camp and not out on the road. The new voltage regulator should hopefully be here by Thursday. I just replaced the motorcycle battery a couple of months ago and do not wish to boil the new battery.
Well, it’s almost been three years since we rented the house and bought the motorhome. We have decided to keep renting it out and stay mobile. We have become so accustomed to living this way I don’t think we could ever go back to the 9 to 5 jobs and not being free to do our thing. We love this life and hope our followers and customers will help us keep living it by shopping with us online.
